If you only read 20 minutes a day, you would increase your verbal skill greatly.  Its not that long, just pick a book of some interest and read for 20 minutes.  Have fun...I like to listen to books on disc when I am driving, or just hanging out at the house, that way I am able to move about and wash dishes and laundry while listening to a book.

Read about stuff you're interested in, then it won't seem like you're forcing yourself (even magazines and webpages count)

if you need to read but don't want to try to be in a "reading" atmospherehangout with bookworms,ask for suggestions, if you really,really,really find one novel perfect then you'll get hooked.

I use to be the same exact way! But the trick was finding out what you enjoy reading. I read my first novel last august and since then I have read probably over twenty books. I love to read now and the good thing is I have been trying out different books. SO you basically have to find out what you like to read.........I love drama books and or reality and much much more

I think you are a student & don't want to read. Without reading how can you get through exams. You have to change your attitude towards reading & get some inspiration to read.
