I dont like to talk to my mum .. it feels like a drag?

When my mum asks questions.. its like i dont want to talk to you. I dont rlei like tlking to her.. ITs not liek i dont like her i love her ect but its different when i talk to her, i talk to my friends normally but i seem to change when im with my mum. She knows i do it and it annoys her and i know i do it and it annoys me but i cant help it. I do it and its like i cant be bothered to talk to her.. I dont know whats wrong with me but its jus strange... Can ne one explain? Anyone else have this problem?

Most girls go through this, it's a generation gap, and as your friends are going through things that you're going through, you find it easier to talk to them.

But, you're mum lays down the law. and lectures and rules are not always welcome, so you rebel...no one is saying you don't love her, but in a way, by not talking to her, you're hurting her, because she feels there is this gap between you and her, and if she's feeling that, then she worries that IF YOU should need her, you'll not be able to talk to her.. vicious circle ??

Don't exclude your mum out of your life, she's the bestest friend you'll EVER have.

Please talk to your mum, i lost my mum last year after a very short battle with lung cancer and i'd give anything to be able to curl up on the sofa with her and have a chat and a cuppa, i miss her voice, hearing her laugh.

Sure i can talk to my friends, but my mum always knew the right things to say and she always pointed out the rights when all i could see were the wrongs.

Open up and enjoy every second you and your mum have together and dont look upon your mum as a drag, but the best friend you will ever have in your life!
