I dont look good in make up, what should i do?

i look good in most makeup but just not eye liner! i have brown eyes and brown hair and for some reason it just looks very dark on me. what should i do?

Use eyeshadow for eyeliner.

It goes on lighter and doesn't dominate your makeup.

Use the side of the applicator and put it on just like you would a pencil or liquid liner.

I would advise to just use a chocolate brown type eyeliner, or to make a cool contrast against your brown eyes, use a dark blue eyeliner :)

If this advice doesn't suit you, it's always free to ask one of the people that work in the cosmetics department of your preferred drug store for some advice. Places like MAC also offer free advice and consultations... all you have to do is ask a worker there, they're all trained to know about makeup :)

i use a brown liquid eye liner. that way it blends more into my eye lash line and doesn't look too dark.

You should:

-Put lotion all over your face,

-draw a thin line of brown eyeliner on you lower lash line,

-curl your upper lashes with an eyelash curler,

-put on one coat of clear mascara on your upper and lower eyelashes, and

-put on some lip balm.

If you want to wear eyeliner in a dark color, try to make the line thin.  If you aren't sure how to do that you can smudge your eyeliner to make it lighter.  There are also some makeup companies that make lighter shades of eyeliner.  Mark by Avon has come out with a silver eyeliner called Quick Silver.  You could also go with an Avon eyeliner.  They have them in shades of grey or if you are looking for something more natural, they also have eyeliners in shades of brown.  But if you want to completely swear off of eyeliner you could always try putting a thin line of eyeshadow on your upper eyelid to simulate the look of eyeliner.  This way you can choose the color you want.  If you would like to check out the eyeliners I mentioned you can check out my web store at www.youravon.com/trowell.  I would love to help you find what you are looking for.

All i can say is try putting the eyeliner on light, don't press to hard or the eyeliner will look darker than it should.
