  1. No, don't quit. All you need is some practice. Give yourself a break, it was your very first practice and with hard work you will get better. Don't feel bad. It is never anyone's fault that their team loses. It is their teams fault. Just keep practicing and get better. Maybe even ask your coach or teammates for some tips. Just don't quit.

  2. it was only one day.

    give yourself time

and im sure you dont suck

    its a sport you learn.

    good luck! :)

  3. No quiting is easy anyone can do it.......you need to work on your game, find out if the team is going to be alright with you on it, if not then maybe you can find a team that plays at your level and go from there. Or you can improve your game indoors and then later on go back to the beach and play with the same guys.

  4. no...even if u was bad tht was 1st day....practice well just make u better !!!!!!

  5. Quitters never Win

  6. No. don't quit. youcan't expect to be as good as everybody on your first go. plenty of practice and you'll start to get better

  7. If you dislike volleyball, it would be best to quit. no point forcing yourself to do something that you don't want.

I've also just joined my school's volleyball extra-curricular activity, and there were lots of times  I felt pretty suckish myself. But hard work pays off. Turn up for all practices and practice and practice! eventually even if you decide to quit, at least you've got the experience! :D

all the best for your volleyball, and don't take it too tough. it's a fun game-enjoy it!

  8. i sometimes think like that too, but not the quitting part. your team mates should know that your not up to their level yet. so they won't be so hard on you. i used to play with players that were 4-5 years older than me and i used to mess up all the time but the other players knew that they have played more than me, so its possible for me to mess up. the other players know that. if i dont get it, their response is usually good try. so dont freak out if the other players are better because they'll understand that you hav less experience than them. don't quit because if you really love to play volleyball, you won't quit.

  9. Quiting your first day isn't the answer. You should at least keep practicing and get better. Ask your friends and family to help you practice and get better.

  10. Quitting right now just because your first practice didn't seem to go as well as you had hoped would be phenomenally stupid. The entire point of practice is to improve - which means, of course, that no one expects you to be exceptional on the first day.

Besides that, what would quitting accomplish? You were picked for the team because you're the best person for the job. Even if you're bad, if you were to quit, somebody even worse than you would take your spot - so you're not doing the team any good by quitting.

Do not quit, especially this early. If you really think you're terrible after a week or so, talk to your coach, and you'll probably find out that you're not nearly as bad as you think. Remember that your opinion or yourself is necessarily biased. You're probably neither as good as you think you are nor as bad as you think you are, because it's very hard to judge yourself.

    Anyway yeah don't quit.
