I dont under stand the "family's" dog?

My mother got a dog for christmas last year. Her name is sushi, she is a s**z sue. She is SUCH a ***** and totally hates me. like she wont look at me hardle she wont come to me. She bites me sometimes. My mom wont let me punish her for the bad things she does because she says she is to small to punish and yell at. The only 2 ppl she likes really are my parents. The only time she really likes to be around me is when no one is home or at night when i stay up late... She gets excited when I come home tho. but other then that she really doesnt want to be around me she would rather be off with my mom or dad some times my brother. It kinda upsets me because she liek the family dog and I want her to be like are past dog... he was such a sweet heart and loved everyone. when I was having a bad day he new it and would come to me and lay with me. like he was there for me... I want sushi to be like that but she isnt

If you don't train them well now, they will probably continue ot grow up like that.

The dog sees your parents as the pack leaders and that's her choice.  Don't yell or hit her or punish her.  Stay away from her and act calm and cool, she'll then realize that you are ok.  She senses that you are upset and that upsets her to be around her.  Just chill and let it happen over time.  Every dog is different and viva la difference.  It'll happen if you just relax and be cool...Not over night but it will happen.  Take her for walks and do cool things with her.  Feed her and groom her.  but do it calmly and nice.

sounds like your mom is putting the dog before you. tell her that if she does not get a handle on this dogs behavior it will fly out of control. No dog is ever too small to be given proper discipline, try to get your mom and dad to hire a trainer or behaviorist to nip this in the bud. Also tell your parents that if she went and bit another person that there is a very good chance that they will call the police and she will be taken away and labeled a dangerous dog and could possible be put to sleep.

Dont yell at her, this probably scares her, and makes her upset, and scared of you.
