  1. really it depends... next time try to get it on tape though. i understand what you feel but you have to think about the baby. not just yourself. he was mad or something when he said that. do you want to have your baby grow up not knowing their own father? think about it for a second. you should give him supervised visitation. you don't want your baby to grow up without a dad.

  2. yes it is, call a family law lawyer immediately, they deal with these kinds of things.

  3. Bring proof of the ims or you'll be up a creek without a paddle.

You might get supervised or limited visitation. No visitation is a tall order.

    My sympathies.

  4. It is probably not enough to get him out of your and the baby's life unless you have witnesses that will testify  that they heard him say those exact  words . The law is very funny and so can Judges be the same. I have no doubt about what he said , but judges do not act on " he said , she said  " type things , rather the judge usually only acts on things you can actually prove he did or said .

Good luck to you and your baby. I hope this helps you and God bless.

  5. It can be enough to get supervised visitation, but to get no visitation at all is hard. But if he is sending you messages like that then he might not want visitation at all.  I would speak to an attorney they could help you, but safe those messages and any more that he sends you, because you will need proof.

  6. If you can print them out and when/if he tries to get visitation--he will have to take you to court, then show the judge the IM's.  Also, be sure to document anything else he says/does.  If ANYTHING he says or does comes across as a direct threat call the police or make a police report, that too will help you in court.
