The school team practices 6 times a week, 4 hours a day! Im also an euestrian, and thats what i REALLy want to do. its my passion! but my mom refuses to listen, and is making me do softball. Shes taking me away from horse shows, and lessons, and horses all together! I keep telling her how much i dont want to do it, and how much riding means to me (she knows how much it does) but she wont listen!

  1. Maybe she cannot afford to keep you riding and is embarrassed to tell you. My grand-kids ride and I am still working to help pay for it. As for the softball, if you really hate it then put no effort into it, play badly, and they'll throw you off the team. Save that for your last resort. First have a serious talk with your mother.

  2. refuse ur suck on purpose

  3. When I was in high school my mother MADE me continue my piano lessons even though I hated it.  It's because it's what SHE wanted me to do, not what I wanted.  I was also a cheerleader and LOVED it...but she didn't see cheering as an "acceptable" extracurricular activity.  She never went to my competitions or games or supported anything to do with it.  And her bribe to me was...I could only cheer if I also took piano lessons.  It was unbearable!!!!  So, I sucked it up - and I actually quit cheering my senior year just so I could quit my piano lessons - hahaha!!!  I guess it was my stubborn nature and pride - I wasn't going to let her control my life, even though I was only in high school.  And you know what?  I have never regretted the decision...I had a great senior year with my boyfriend and friends.  And, heck, I went to college and moved away when I was 18 and was able to do what I wanted!  I ended up becoming a cheerleading coach for a local boys and girls club cheer team for a couple of years and enjoyed it!  So follow your heart - it will build character in yourself!  And as you grow older you will be able to do what you love on your own money and time...remember that...you are still very young.  Good luck!

  4. Sometime do a google search on horse riding accidents.  Softball is a lot safer.  If you want the horses that much, wait till you're older and go back to them.  In the meantime I would make the best of it.  Softball teaches teamwork, sportsmanship, a quick eye, and a steady arm.

  5. do u live in grinnell tell you mom to back off yah my dad wont let me quit band
