Question:

I dont want to loose hp buy putting an exaust back on my 1996 dodge ram 1500 v8 what would b the best choic?

i have a dual cold air intake and throttle body spacer and new ignition kit and the exaust runs into one catylac converter and single out i cut off the exaust and i am getting a high flow cat but i dont want to run into single cat or exaust and i dont want to loose hp i wanted to do a dual all the way to get ready for the headers,ii cant really find anything that is true dual on the internet i just need help on what i should do

  1. you can do like the above answer said or you can also look on this site right here they had some true duals for those trucks that would allow you to run them and still have the function of the 0-2 sensor without getting any trouble codes from it and they did help a lot,that's whats on my truck now,and i have no complaints from it at all,i got the benefit of having duals with two cats and still the truck runs exceptionally well,good luck ,look on this site they may still have those,http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/


  2. Gte 2 cats and have the pipes custom made at a shop, they do it all the time.
