I downloaded brushes for GIMP but I don't see them in the brushes.?

I downloaded brushes for GIMP off of DeviantArt but they aren't showing up in the brushes on GIMP.

move/copy the brush file to C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0 \brushes (note: 1 space added to show full path), after save, the brush won't be available to choose, then Ctrl+Shift+b to open brush dialog, click the lower right corner refresh brushes button, the newly added brush will show for selecting.
