  1. You can indeed do a system restore, but you just uninstall ie8

    You can't uninstall internet explorer, because it is part of windows or vista, but by uninstalling, you roll back to ie7

    Mick Q is right. when you want a fast, reliable browser you should install Firefox. but  you did not ask what is the best browser. So I did not suggest it, untill I saw Mick Q did. I only confirm it.


  2. I have the same trouble, mine kept crashing.. So I downlaoded FIREFOX and it's working perfectly, it even has a spam and pop up blocker, also it's free.. I wont be going back to IE, ever..
