I have this recurring dream of crossing a bridge, the bridge is has alot of stuff moving so fast its like a blur, and im crossing at the side. My mom is holding my hand, and in the second version of my dream my grandma was there, but she was by herself in the middle of the road.

I never saw the river, but it was night time.

The bridge was over a river and it is a bridge that I am familiar with.

My mother does not even look at me.

And i never actually cross the bridge.

Can someone explain this dream? I am confused and with my current dream intrepretation skills and I predict death.

Its wierd and i want someone else's view on it.

Please help me.

  1. Nicholas, this does not signify death is near.  It signifies that your hopes are raised about some new plan, change, some event that is different from what you deal with day by day, but this hope is not fulfilled, it never reaches fruition.  The day you cross that bridge is the day your hoped for change will happen.  You are dealing with false promises now.  Your mother and grandma are involved.

    Regards

  2. Something big is happening in your life, a time of transition, perhaps a time of "crossing over" from one stage of life to another.  Perhaps it is about you finishing high school and crossing over into college, or the adult world.  Or perhaps it is about your grandmother growing older and needing more care.  Or maybe your Mom has taken on more responsibility and is not "there for you" like she normally would be.

I'm wondering if maybe your grandmother is needing more care, as she is the "center" of this dream, so she is the main focus of your family right now.  Because of this, everything is so busy and crazy in your family, and you feel you have been pushed "to the side".  Up to this point, your Mom has been "holding your hand" but now, she is too busy to be as involved with you as she always has been.

The river "passing time" or life going on.  The bridge is this time of change or transition.

I bet you feel kind of abandoned right now.

See if you can find a way to be helpful to your Mom, and this will give her a little more time and energy to spend with you.  Maybe go with her when she is buying groceries, or taking care of your Grandma.  Not only will she appreciate this SO much, but it will give you more time together.  You really do need each other right now.

  3. I think this about a dissension you have made that seemed chaotic at the time. You mom not looking at you but helping you across could mean that during the dissension you felt like she helped you make it but she never really paid attention to you and more of the problem ahead.

Hope this helped you and if you ever need more help contact me.

  4. Bridge = support, things you need to achieve

    Mom = temporary support.

You may be feeling the need for support in some aspect of your life.  The appearance of your mom and grand mom symbolize sooner or later this temporary will be leaving you.  You are feeling helpless.  In translation, you may be low in confidence in terms of facing things alone.  You are seeking for full support in your life.   Subconsciously, you are feeling insecure because deep down you know those support will be leaving one day. That is why you projected mom didn't look at you and grandme was by herself.

  5. Hi, I found this on a website. Hopefully this might help you!

    Bridge

To dream that you are crossing a bridge, signifies an important decision or a critical junction in your life. This decision will prove to be a positive change with prosperity and wealth in the horizon. Bridges represent a transitional period in your life where you will be moving on to a new stage.

To dream of a run-down bridge, indicates that you should not contemplate any major changes in your life at this time.

To see a bridge collapse in your dream, denotes that you have let a great opportunity pass you by.

    Hope it helped! :)

  6. nothing

    bad dreams never come true

    only the gud ones do

  7. A bridge is how we get from one place to another, but there is fear of the unknown, and the wish for greater security. On the other side of the bridge is usually what we hope will be better.

Recurring dreams indicate ongoing, unresolved issues, but it's good when there are changes in them, because that means we are making progress. It may be slow progress, but it is much better than seeing no change.

All the fast and busy stuff going on means things around you are going too fast for comfort, and maybe you feel you are too slow. Confusion and stress, possibly panic in certain situations.

Your bridge dreams relate to something that's happening around the time of the dreams. Are you having to make a leap of faith? Not sure if you can do it? Not sure what's on the other side?

Your mother, especially, appears as the person you most rely on in trying to make the change.

My advice is to look at what causes you fear just before these dreams happen, or what transition you're afraid of making. Talking about it might help, asking for reassurance, but, mostly, deciding for yourself what you're going to do.

The dreams will change as the situation and your feelings about the situation change, and will go away when the situation is resolved.
