I dreamed of my dead father in a family's happy occassion. sharing a chocolate cake with each other.?

My father died 4 years back. But suddenly from last two / three alternate days I am seeing him in my younger days, with my mother, brother & sister. Some kind of a birthday occasion or a get together. And we are eating a chocolate cake together. And my father saying that to pack his cake in a box. He will take away with him. He has to go back. Please............ please if anyone can interprete the meaning of dream. I am disturbed. And MISSING him..............

Some believe that when we dream of those who have passed, it's just that person's way of visiting you.  Sounds like it's a happy occasion.  Your father is just telling you that he's all right.  He stopped in to see you and now he has to go back.  Take it as a good dream.

The family birthday with everyone together is what you wish you had now. You are recalling some of your most carefree and happy occasions when you were all together having fun. The cake may have been something that he particularly enjoyed or was integral to the idea of "celebration, joy comfort and happiness" The boxing up and removal of the cake is the acknowlegement that he can't be with you and be "physically there" as part of the family. So I would say, that you are missing him especially right now and feeling a bit alone and vulnerable. I had been depressed about some things and one night i dreamt about my dad, it seemed so real, he was there telling me everything is going to be ok, I don't talk about this much but the few times I did, people were telling me they have had similar dreams or visions. So take it as a happy event, might be his way to tell you everything is OK

this is a visit from him and not a dream.  he must like the cake!  pack some chocolate cake in a box.   leave it atop his favorite place.   leave a note in the box too, telling him how much you miss him and the things you have needed to say to him.  he is opening up communications with you.   he is there,  you just need to listen.

Maybe he is visiting you in your dreams with a happy time. I'm really not that superstitious so I don't know. you maybe have been thinking of him a lot. When i think of something ill dream it.
