I dreamed that I died and....I am scared!?

Question

Well, I am completely freaking out right now. This is the first time that I have actually seen myself die in my dream....I would usually wake up before I die.

It starts out as.....do you know what a lockdown is? Like, I was in my school and we had one because some armed man came in and was threatening people, something like that. I was in my favorite class, and we were in there. The guy comes in and starts yelling. He points the gun at Kevin (my crush....and a friend) and I start yelling for the gunman to shoot me instead. He doesn't listen, so I jump in front of Kevin right before he shoots. I get shot right in the chest, fall to the ground and dying....

What could it mean?

and i have read in a book it means that you will have some changes

in your life  and it is not mean a physical death, but an ending of something.

In my native country if you have a dream that you die in, it means that you will live a long life. I don't know if it's true though

You're mind is just used to reality like that.. seeing that kind of stuff on television, etc. Don't worry about it, I've had so many dreams where I die.

Don't worry about it sweetie. I have tons of dream books and death means rebirth. Maybe you are trying to have some kind of new start with this crush, due to past issues. In your subconscious, so to speak. Hope that helps and happy dreaming.
