I dreamed that a friend had destroyed my property and let me ride his horse - but we were going to be shot ...

The dream starts with me coming round to visit him in his apartment the street is like Brooklyn with wide streets and the avenue is tree-lined. Picturesque and calm, deserted and upscale but with a olde-worlde and bohemian feel.

In the dream his apartment is in a brownstone and I walk up an alley and the front door is open. I walk in and the old wooden floors are highly polished, the kitchen and living room are combined and the space is huge but empty. Clean and bright but empty - very nice but almost unfurnished.

Just one small sofa at the very end of the room

We haven't spoken for a while so it is awkward but we are pleased to see each other.

He leaves the room for a second and I notice my laptop that I lent him discarded on the floor, with broken hinges and the screen is scratched and covered with coffee. I am annoyed but I suddenly think: "hey. I'll say nothing about the disrespectful damage cos he always lets me ride his horse ...."

(Gets stranger ... bear with me)
