Whilst I really sympathise with your situation, you have posted this in the wrong forum. You have posted in the genealogy forum, although I can see why you probably did post here.

You probably had an out of body experience.

This is where the body and spirit split into two.

There are people who can achieve this on purpose, and others it happens spontaneously, as with yourself.

Or it could have simply been a dream, probably because you had been thinking of your lost family, either consciously or sub consciously.

They came to you to let you know they are still thinking of you
