i had a dream that i was awake all night. and i woke up and i seriously believed i hadn't slept until early in the morning. in my dream i would doze slightly and just shudder awake again over and over. and every time i would look at the clock "11:18" and "3:37". i even felt dog tired for about an hour that morning. i eventually felt normal, and then i remembered seeing "13:09" as a time, and i kinda figured out it was a dream. but ive done it a lot more often. does it mean something maybe?

  1. I have had dreams that woke me up with great ideas, which I sleepily wrote down so I could consider it in the morning. In the morning my scribblings made no sense. I thought it was a solution to anti-gravity production and wake up in the morning to read " elephants in the refrigerator " or something less sensible.

  2. I once heard a theory that said that there are too form of being, the physical form and the conscience. The conscience is not our mind but more of what some people refer to as "the spirit". When we are asleep, our conscience roams free, but if our conscience comes back too fast before our bodies wake up, we can be aware of the room we're in, the time, the light, other people, without physically being awake.

  3. Yes, it means that you are becoming very much in touch with your consciousness. To be asleep but also aware of your immediate surroundings is often referred to as and "out of body experience".

I've been told that this phenomenon is studied in Zen Buddhism if you're interested in finding out more about it.

    Peace

  4. HAPPENS TO ME TO, U JUST WAKE UP BUT UR TO SLEEPY TO REALIZE IT@!! :)

  5. I do that all the time. It might be an age thing. Some that comes with age. I dreamt I was up and got up and looked at the clock too and I'm tried in the morning. You might want to sleep in or take a nap when you get home but don't do that. What you do is avoid naps and stay up late so you will be to tired not to sleep through the night.
