I am a single young professional in the city. I had a very strange but pleasant dream last night. I was helping my aunt give birth to my baby boy. He was beautiful with dark hair and eyes and had the most cute smile. I held him and was very happy. My uncle asked me what his name was and I replied I don't know yet. He then replied well don't forget the family names. And for some reason my father's name popped in my head but I chose not to as I don't like the name. Anyway, we were then preparing ourselves for a journey. I was dressing and nursing the baby and loved him so much.

For clarification, I haven't been thinking about baby's at all but I do have ovarian cysts. My uncle and aunt live abroad and in reality this would never happen. I haven't seen them for years now and she is physically unwell.

I have a dreamsbook but it doesn't say anything about 'someone' else giving birth to your baby. What on earth does this mean? A new beginning started by someone else?

  1. I have a feeling that this dream was just a dream with no meaning. I think it was your mind just playing pleasent thoughts of people who make you happy, and maybe something you desire one day. Having a baby, or seeing your relatives.

    I might be wrong.

Unless you have another dream dealing with birth, then their may be something meaningful.

  2. Helping her give birth.. could be your presence in spirit to help her if she becomes pregnant.

Or.. you said she's unwell..maybe you donate eggs to her to help her have a child. Or she has one for you with eggs you have donated. In any case, keep your dads name in mind if someone becomes pregnant. You may not like the name but someone wants it used.

btw.. if your cysts hurt, lay on your back, heating pad over the ovary area.. ankles crossed and hands on ovaries with slight pressure. The ankles crossed are critical. It will give you some relief.

  3. The fear of not giving  birth to your own child [it doesn't matter if its in 5 or 10 yrs from now ] is very present in your dream ; but because you had such a vivid memory of this baby ; it means that you    would  give birth to a child ; and it could be very well the same baby you had seen in your dream . PS I dreamt at 20 yrs of my first son ; who was born 5 yrs later It was the exact same baby I had seen in my dream

  4. Sometime who we are in our dream is not exactly who we are. The baby or your aunt could be a representational of you. Our dream sometimes represent of what we are going through emotionally or concerns.  One dream can't really tell what's going on with what you are going through. But there's a theme of un-wellness in your life - with you and your aunt. Dreams most of the times is away of cleansing our psyche of unnecessary thoughts.

Could you be concern about having or not having a baby, and your aunt's ailment? Instead of looking at dream books, Why not give your aunt a call or some sort of contacts with her. It might make her happy to hear from you, and it might give you some peace of mind or some relief, or even some revelations.
