I drive truck 07 Volvo body is fiberglass antenna mount on mirror bracket/coated metal how do ground this?

have tried grounding with wire to frame, cannot find suitable place on frame that give good ground. cb still displays antenna light. this a semi tractor trailer truck.

Simple solution.  A bird perch.  This is a threaded, solid metal rod that replaces the back s***w of the mirror support on the door.  Take a 40 torx socket, remove the back s***w of the mirror support on the door.  There is a ground strap on this location.  Simply s***w in the bird perch into the existing hole left by the s***w.  You can either mount the antenna on the rod, or you can mount your FM/Satilite antenna to the rod and use the mounting bolts as a receiver for a ground wire from your CB antenna.

I had the same problem on my 06 i took the s***w on the mirrow arm at the door and ran a wire to it and returned the s***w and i now have a flat match and get out world wide
