I dropped my blackberry pearl in the water.HELP!!!?

i dropped my blackberry pearl in the pool. it might have been in there for 5 seconds. i blow dryed and it was working fine for two weeks. then i dropped on the kitchen floor. now it wont turn on. i took the battery out numerous times and when i plug it in the red LED light keeps flashing.

Most carriers require that insurance be added within 30 days of activating the serial number for the phone.  If you do not have insurance then you will have to pay higher prices to have the phone replaced.  Don't count on the phone working anytime soon.  Blow drying may work for some phones but your issue is larger than what a blow dryer can do for you.  Call the retention department at your carrier and ask them what they can do for you if you continue your business with them and possibly sign a new contract.  You may even want to check Ebay for deals on phones.  Check to see if the serial number of the phone is not reported as stolen first by calling your carrier. Get insurance next time.
