I was fishing the other day and waded in a little to deep and got my cell phone dunked. Anway, after letting it dry, it is actually able to send and recieve calls, but the lcd screen won't display anthing. It lights up when I turn the phone on, but there are no words. I don't notice any water or fogging in the lcd screen area. Do you think it just needs a new lcd or is someting more damaged? Thanks for any info. BTW it is an older Nokia 3587i.

  1. if the phone takes a sim card (like cingular/at&t or t-mobile) then go to walmart and buy a $20 phone and just insert your sim card. your phone is gone. it has severe water damage and won't work again. take out the battery and there should be a little sticker. it used to be white and it should now be red from the water damage.

    sorry.
