  1. sorry to hear what happened to your camera... they wont be able to repair it anymore (majority will agree) or if they can it might cost you a lot, so better buy a new camera...


  2. lol water damage cant get fixed..if you had a warranty or something you could send it in

  3. lol. Water damage is not covered under the warranty. Either repair it or replace it.

  4. you burned the main electrical wire inside (the power button)that cant be replaced by another wire... sorry but you need to by a new camera... try to be more carefull next time...

  6. Tip for the future. When you drop electronics in the water, you are not totally out of luck. Trying to turn it on probably fried it.

    Leave it off. Take the battery out, and take the camera apart as far (and as comfortably) as you are willing to go. Let it sit, like for 24 hours. Hit it with compressed air or leave it near a fan for several hours. Water doesn't really damage anything in most of these devices, it's the electrical current jumping across the water and shorting things out.

    Try this, you have nothing to lose anyway.
