Question:

I dropped my psp now it wont turn on!!!?

i dropped my psp and now its completely dead. when i plug the charger in it shows the orange light. when i take the battery out and plug the charger in and push the on button the green light flashes. thats all that it does.

does anyone with experience or successful repairs know how to fix this? 10 points.. no useless answers from people who dont know what they're talking about please.

  1. I wont claim that im an expert in this field but my PSP did this and all i did was leave it for a while, perhaps remove and clean the battery of dust.

    I also have a friend to whom the exact same happened and his has returned to normal. However in neither of these cases was the PSP dropped, simply not used for a long time. There would have to be an examination or something on your PSP as it is clearly not completely dead - the orange/ green light works (this is what happened with mine and my friends), but second hand PSPs are now sold at a relatively cheap price (for PSPs).


  2. it sounds like the screen has gone if it still shows the green button that means it still turns on but the screen is probably broken how long have you had the PSP if you have a 1 to how many year warranty you can probably bring it in and have it fixed
