Yesterday when I was playing with my 4 month old puppy. I wanted to take her to toilet, it was raining so I decided to carry her.

When she was in my arms, (I'm quite tall) She saw something and just jumped out my hands, I tried to grab her but she fell head first.

it was night time so she couldn't see the floor properly. She cried a loud cry when she fell. I checked her up and she was fine. But now she it scared of me. She gets all quiet , doesn't play, or won't even eat her favourite food.

Any way of helping me? To gain her trust?

  1.  This happened to me, too. I would just take her to the vet first, just to check if she's okay, and then once you have eliminated that from the situation you should give her lots of treats whenever you pet her, play with her, hold, anything, so she learns to trust you again. Don't push her and let her associate your smell and your touch with something good. She should forget all about it in no time. Good Luck!!
