I dropped my samsung digimax A 6 camera while taking a picture, now the zoom lens wont retract.?

Evey time i switch it on it just

shuts down immediately. does anybody

know how to rectify this or am i looking at a hefty

repair bill ?

If you still have warranty you're not looking at a hefty bill but i suggest that you do not fool around with this sort of thing, you could make it worse. Sorry i can't help.

Your warranty doesn't cover abuse, and dropping it is abuse.  Chances are that it will cost about as much to fix it as a new camera would cost.  Repairs are not cheap!   Call the company and see if they can give you an estimate.

Next time, use the wrist strap at all times, and you won't drop it.  Also get a small case to protect it when you aren't using it.
