nah..  Your doing the right thing and getting a ged. In fact wher ei live a Ged is better then  a highscholl diploma.

A lack of self confidence is much more likely to hurt your chances of finding a girl than a lack of education ever will!!!! Of course over confidence can be just as bad.

I mean i'm sure a girl will like you more if you have an education but getting your GED isn't gonna help you find a girl...most 20 year old boys have graduated from highschool

Either way, just go to a lower middleclass neighborhood where more than half the people didn't graduate highschool. You will be a step up from most the guys their as long as you have a job that pays more than minimum wage.

Sorry that you dropped out of HS, but you are not alone (I know a few ppl who did this). If you are serious about getting your GED and do something afterwards like pursuing career goals, the girls who are interested in you will appreciate the ambition.  The ones who can't or don't are not even worth a second glance!

It didn't hurt me. I'm 32,  I got a great wife.  And to be honest I make more $ then most people I know who graduated collage.  But I have had to work really hard and probably don't have the future earning's and they will pass me in 20 years or so

Probably not. At least you are cleaning up your act :) That shows you want to make something of yourself. I always give people chances and see if they actually do what they say they are. If not, see ya.

Well It's good that you're getting a GED. I think it would hurt you finding a girl because she should love you the way you are and work it out with you. My boyfriend is a high school drop out too and he came out just fine. =)

first u make ur foundation strong.i mean u can continue in studies  or can find a good job.so that  girls stand in queue.at ur doorsteps.

I dont believe it would hurt u.  If a girl doesnt want u because u dropped out then she is not the right girl for you.thats like saying if a girl doesnt like u for u and only wants u for s*x etc then shes not for u.  I WOULD THINK THE FACT UR STUDYING NOW TO GET UR GED WOUL IMPRESS ANY GIRL BECAUSE THEY WOULD BE LIKE WOW HES STUDYING TO MAKE SOMETHING OF HIMSELF.  GOOD LUCK

It's great you are doing that. And no reason to stop at the GED. From there you can go on to community college, and you will be more mature than most guys who go there straight out of high school. Plenty of great girls in a community college and they will appreciate your gumption, that is, the ones who have the right stuff.

A girl should be the last thing on your mind.  In fact, they would probably respect you more once you've had your education.

There are definitely prejudiced girls out there who won't date you as a drop out.  But, I wouldn't worry about them, because they won't likely make good partners anyway.

It shouldnt. You are trying to better yourself now. Maybe circumstances held you back from graduating. It wont matter to her as long as she knows that you are trying to better yourself.
