I dropped something heavey on my laminate floor.?

It's left a dint about 1/4 '' deep by 1/4'' wide, is there anything I can do about it?

  1. Failing all of this, you can get a cosmetic repair company out & they will do a spotless repair with a lifetime guarantee - not cheap though. About £100 odd quid.

    Try theplasticsurgeon. Its a franchise & should be one near you.


  2. Filler and add paint to get the colour to match then seal it.

    B+Q and no doubt other large stores sell special laminate floor filler in shades to match most styles. However you can just as easily make up your own.

    Another, maybe better solution, depending where the dent is, would be to use "decorators caulk" available in tubes from B+Q , that would be flexible and if you got a magnolia shade you could add paint to colour it

  3. try holding the steam iron about one quarter from floor and push the steam button over the ding sometime the moisture will expand the floor
