I dropped the iphone in the sea 2 days after getting it but have no insurance?

Does anyone know how i can get a new handset even if i have to pay for it? I got it from the carphone warehouse, its the iphone 3g 16 gigs.

Just go to the store and tell them I need to buy another iPhone 3g, because the other on was dropped in the sea, and make a sad face, maybe they will give a discount ;)

and what ever you do ... dont pay to have the phone unlocked ... you can do it yourself for free
