I drunk 6 beers on sunday Monday around 1130am i had a pre employment dot drug screen will the results be ok?

the reason i asked is because i think they test for drugs i have never used drugs i just drink a beer every now aand again

As long as it's not illegal to drink alcohol where you live.

whever it's positive or not you will be fine!

Alcohol can be detected for 24 hours I think. Unless they smell it on your breath they probably would not even care if they found any alcohol.

I don't think alcohol is a type of drugs.  You should be okay.  In the meantime, drink lots of water and chew some gum.  By drinking water, your body is forced to release all the liquid that's inside of your body.  When you chew gum, it will reduce the smell of your breath.

I assume you took a urine test as your DOT test?  These tests check for narcotics, opiates, and marijuana (5 or 10 panel tests).  Standard DOT tests do NOT check for alcohol.  

There are alcohol tests available to check for detection of alcohol but they are done with saliva, breathalyzer, or blood if you had a work-related accident.
