I dyed my hair, & it turned out really dark..?

Question

I didn't expect it too turn out so dark. I'm pretty sure its permanent.

Does anyone know how to fade dyed hair on time for tomorrow? gaah it's my sweet 16 and i don't want to look gothic or something :|

try loada n loads n loads of shampoo n if still doesnt look gud den try a little less lighter shade

try lightening it, put some lemon juice in your hair and go in the sun for 1-3 hours you hair will look lighter

i might not be one to answer this, as i am an emo so i love dark hair. but u should try a lighter dye or ask your local hairdresser what to do, best to hear it from a professional :)

omg! i am soo sorry! that sucks!!! what i would do is grab a little  of lemon juice and put it in your shampoo, conditioner, or just strait in your hair.... then if you can sit out in the sun for a few hours... it should help lighten it up..... but i am sure you will look beautiful no mater what! happy birthday, btw.     :]   hope i help ya out!

OMG! i just had the same problem! only for school.

DEEP wash your hair, it works. my hair was to dark and red.

I wash it and Boom, it was better, not only lighter..but less red. =]]

if you keep washing it, it will fade naturally like most dyed colours do.. so don't worry in a couple weeks it will be more like the colour you want it to be.

The same thing happened to me! I just washed my hair regularly, and within around 4 days it was to the shade I wanted. Since you need it to be lighter by tomorrow, you should try washing it a few times. Just be sure to condition your hair so it doesn't get dry. mix some baking soda with shampoo. work thru the hair dont scrub. or mix some 10 volume developer (peroxide for hair) with your shampoo and then condition well

it depends on what color your hair is. if it's black brown it.brown put some red in.blonde.a dark dark blonde then put some white it it.you'd think my ideas are crazy but they accually work!

I did the same thing last week mine was black!!!  wash it over and over again and blowdry it after everytime you wash it!!! HAPYY SWEET 16!!!!!
