I dyed my hair purple?

Okay so i have brown hair (im a guy) and its not too long/ but i bleached it first, then i dyed it purple and it turned back to my natural hair color? what should i do. did i do something wrong?

If you bleached it, then it shouldn't have turned back. Are you sure it's not just a purple similar to your old hair?

if you bleached it then it can't turn back to your natural color unless you use brown hair dye.  what color was it when you washed the bleach out?  how long did you leave the bleach on?  if it wasn't super light blonde after bleached then you didn't bleach it enough which can distort the purple color.  the best way to get vibrant color is to bleach your color out and then use a white toner like manic panic in virgin snow before you put the color in.  it will make your hair white so that the color you apply will be pure.
