I washed the dye off and the pain persists, I tried home remedies to cure the pain nothing worked. I used vinegar, lemon juice, dawn. It all just made them smell funky. Any ideas? Experience?

  1. Uhm, I heard club soda works, but that might only be for hair on your head :P

  2. Conditioner, and some aloe.

When I dyed the head on my hair, it hurt like heck for a while. I used the special conditioner that came with the dye, and the burning faded.

If none came with the dye, check a local hair salon to see if they have one that works for dyed hair (If you're too embarrassed to say you died your pubes, then just say it's a friends' hair.) Otherwise find a conditioner for dyed hair.

As far as aloe, they sell all kinds of it. I prefer the liquid ice brand, it's made for sunburns. Don't know exactly how well it will work there, but it should help.

If that don't work, you may have an allergy. I'm assuming you used normal hair dye instead of pubic hair dye (Yes, they make such a thing) which isn't the safest idea.

  3. You silly bugger! I like you style though :)

Um.. I would try washing them more or moisturizer them.

If that doest work, shave them off!

  4. I really don't want to know why you did it and if you could see me I am shaking my head in disbelief. I may be old fashioned as I really cannot understand why people do crazy things to their bodies. Lemon juice and vinegar are strong acids and will irritate sensitive tissue especially after having harsh chemicals like dye all over it. Soap isn't much better, so you need some type of soothing cream and let nature do the rest. The average person takes about two to three weeks to heal from minor tissue damage so as long as you don't keep irritating the tissue you should be okay.

Before you decide to apply dye again to any part of your body have a look at the following:

  5. Vinegar and lemon juice??? Put some hair conditioning on the skin or some aloe. What color did you dye them?

  6. I would try some vasiline on it and see how it works sound like you burned the tissue and you may end up seeing a dr if it does not get better soon.   No more vinigar or lemon juice and definaltly no more soaps and harsh chemicals

  7. light them on fire, i heard it works
