redken has a lot of good products inriched with protien, this helps strengthen distressed hair. Go to your beauty salon. They are trained and know which products will work best for your hairtype. It can be expensive. but it is well worth it, and will have your hair back in shape in no time. I used CAT by redken after i had my hair relaxed it was really dry and frizzy. This stuff works!!

Do you straighten/blow dry your hair often? -- that can make it really dry. One thing that REALLY helps (i find) is putting coconut oil in your hair (heating it up some and really massaging your scalp, leave it on for 3-4 hrs) but after that, it turns out lovely, soft, silky and shiny!!

If you have split ends -- get a haircut and make sure to get id of all your split ends. that will really improve the health of your hair.

do you use product when you do your hair yourself? -- depending on if you have curly or straight hair, there are tons of products you can use which help calm your hair down from frizz, as well as give it some extra volume. spend some time looking for products at your local drug store!!

Did you bleach it???

Well if you have cash, go to your hair salon. Ask for treatment for dry hair, or just explain the situation and they'll help you out. But it won't come cheap. I don't have much info on this so...

OR

Hair mask - it helps condition your hair and repairs and norishes it (in time). Once your apply it to your hair, put a shower cap over it. It helps trap the heat and makes the mask more effective.

Oil - All you got it do is heat up the oil and apply it to your hair. I would recommend extra olive oil or coconut oil. Very good for your hair. Don't overheat it though.

You probably left it in your hair to long.  The biggest mistake people make is doing color at home without knowing what kind to get or if their hair is to damaged to do it but, since you already did it you need to put the protein and moisture back into your hair.  Use products by matrix for color treated hair. Buy the leave in conditioner, reg. Conditioner for moisture and moisturizing shampoo.  Also buy a product by paul mitchell that is a smoothing leave in treatment.  Clarify your hair 1 time every other week and try not to was your hair too much.  Most important is a leave in moisturizer and a leave in repair treatment.  Anymore suggestions let me know.
