I live in Sydney, Australia. It's going to be the first time that I'm going to claim my tax return. How much do you think I'll get back. Anyone recommended Please...

a tax accountant will charge u b/w $80 - $150 which you can claim as a deduction NEXT financial yr.

as for how much $ u get back depends how much tax witheld as been deducted from ur pay and whether u have hecs debt and also what sort of job you do as that would provide the grounds for your deduction claims.

i'm happy to teach u as your affairs seem simple. if you msg me privately with your email address i will send u a list of info i require and can work out your tax for you n email u spreadsheet with explanations. you can then download etax online and punch in all the details yourself.  that way i wont know your personal details.  i however will be on holidays for a week as of tomorrow so if its urgent c an accountant.

I use H & R Block & find them good also they have about 20 offices around NSW.
