The main  problem is it can cause gastritis. Therefore take it immediately after a meal and take an antacid half an hour after the meal.

This will prevent such a complication.

Other side effects which are rare are hypersensitivity, insomnia, depression, gastric ulceration, photo sensitivity, hepatic damage, and bleeding from the stomach.

A single dose of 100 mg. may not cause these problems but when using continuously remember about these complications.
