  1. Instead of eating 4 or 5 bags a day, why not try eating 1 bag plus healthier snacks.

Eat some fruit...like a banana, peach, plum, apple, or a hand full of raisins.

Eat some vegetables that are not deep fried like carrots or celery with peanut butter.

When you are 13 you're forming all of your eating habits for when you are an adult.  Your metabolism may be able to keep up with unhealthy snacking now, but it will probably fail you later.

So lay off the crisps and try some healthier snacks.  You don't need to give them up, but you probably already knew that 4-5 bags a day was a bad idea.

  2. You might find you get to know the Echo/Electro-cardiograph operator when you're 40.

If you really need to eat crisps, please eat low fat ones.

Do you eat "cheap" crisps ?

I find people eat lots of the same food if they are not very strong flavours - the craving is not satisfied.

Why not try buying a really nice packet of crisps - you might find you take your time because the flavour is nice and overall it might be no more expensive

  3. Well the first thing that will happen, very soon, is 'zit city.'

By your late teens your hair nails and skin will not look as healthy as they should.

In your 20's you will start having problems related to high cholesterol.

By your 30's most your major arteries will be filling up with cholesterol plaque.

40's high blood pressure, and heart related problems.

By your late 40's early 50's you will be poping 3 to 4 pills a day to control diet related damage to your major organs.

If you make it to your 60's you will be trading heart surgery stories with the other seniors at the senior center or convelesent home.

These are generalizations, but I hope they get you to cut back on your "4-5 bags of crisps a day" habit, and start eating a healthier diet.

  4. high blood pressure! That's way too much salt for you!

  5. Michael's right....the things you do now may not seem to have much effect but they'll catch up w/you....kettle chips are a good flavorful brand and I'm pretty sure they use healthier oils. If you're calling them crisps, I'm assuming you're in the u.k. though and I don't know the brands there.
