So I meet a bunch of new people while people while partying one night just below my apartment. After leaving I sort of decided to eavesdrop to hear what they had to say about me I heard the guy who lives in the apartment say "well, that was f'ing weird" after my friend and I left. So I'm wondering if I should even bother with these people again. Any suggestions?

  1. People often pass comments quickly; they do not think twice. Also, opinions keep changing as we get to know somebody more. So, if I were you I would not worry too much. I think you never eavesdrop again right? It does no good.

  2. He might not have been talking bout you two, what else did they say? Did you hear your names mentioned. If you're sure that they were talking about you then there's no point in hanging around them much, but if they could have been talking about anything and if you had a good time then don't blow them off immediately.

  3. Firstly, I dont think eavesdropping is good manners, anyways, dont bother what these people think, act normally and politely when u meet them, cause they did not say it straight in your face to hurt u, and everyone has a right to have their own opinion about people
