Now I live in Sydney.I bought a collectible figure from an online store located on VIC on 6th June. When placing the order it provided three types of payment methods:direct bak deposit, paypal and credit card.I chose the first one that time.

I placed order and paid immediately via direct bank deposit plus an email notifying them that i havd paid the money.Cause it was weekend,I waited for two day for their reply.

However, till now I donnot receive any reply from them.In the mean time i actively sent approximately 5 emails, but all of them were reported by the mail system as a failure in delivery to the recipient(I suspected all the email addresses are false).Today i made a phone call according to the telephone number on its website, but the system told me that the number I dialled was disconneted or unavilable.

Now my order status is still pending in MyAccount on that website.

I cannot contact them via all methods I can choose and I have paid for the goods. What shoud I do now?

  1. That's too bad... They've got your money and now they're gone! Believe me.. you're not the 1st and won't be the last.

The best you can do is contact the website administrator and make a formal complaint about the company or person who did that. They will ban whomever did that, but I think they won't make any move to help you get your money back.

You had 3 options and for some reason you didn't choose the safest one "paypal".. it's your own responsibility..

Ps. Don't forget to post your complaints about this transaction otherwise other people will make the same mistakes.

And remember, you should always exchange a few emails and talk on the phone BEFORE sending any money away... and the most important... Always check what other people say about the person you are dealing with (how many and how good do they evaluate them??)

    Take care !

  2. Wow!  I would contact your bank right away and give them a heads-up on the situation. I would think that they can block these phony people from taking from your account, in the same way a bank will allow you to "stop payment" on a check. In the end you might have to change your bank account, but I hope not.

I have had real problems with Pay Pal in the past and will never use them by giving bank info any more. Someone started phishing me a few years back after using it.

I hope this works out for you. I'll star the question so others can help too.
