i changed my name and lied about my real identity and got political asylum.i am single parent ,my child was born in the u.s. and is 9 now , i always paied my taxes and have only one missdeminor,i stayed on the same job for 11years and i am homeowner.

i applied for a greencard and ins with the help of FBI found out about my identity, therefor they want to terminate my asylum status and put me on deportation procedure.

Is there any legal option for me to stay considering my child.

if i am deported could i one day apply for greencard when my child is 21.

  1. I suggest you speak with an immigration attorney... for them to consider your child, your child would have to have a life threatening disease or be handicapped, that would make it an extreme hardship for your U.S. citizen child to leave the country if you were deported because you would have to take him/her with you and even then they may still deny your stay...

deportation proceedings can take years before they are resolved (and you can still work) so maybe you should fight it and who knows by then the law could change and you may be allowed to stay...

  2. You broke the law. Immigration has no choice but to deport you.

  3. I won't even count the amount of times you have broken the law in the 11 years you have been here illegally.  You should definitely be scheduled for deportation, and, of course, please feel free to take your child with you.  Having an anchor baby does no good, whatsoever.

  4. I guess you shouldn't have lied, and deceived the American people. if you had done things the right way maybe you would be able to stay, but you didn't so don't let the door hit you on your way out.

  5. contact an immigration lawyer immediately before u get your deportation order. did u not think of the consequences when u lied about 11 years back ??  anywat, what ever has been done cannot be undone. do take legal help immeditately

  6. oh no way, they should be deported you longtime ago , cause false identity
