I failed Math, Science, and English

I should pass English but I missed 2-3 scores,,,

Teacher said, I have 5 times to retake a TAKS Test or else I won't be able to graduated...

I 'm so scared...what should I do?

Everyone in 11 grade passed the TAKS test but few of them fail...

and that is me

I'm not good at math and science at all

I have tried my best but I always failed....

Everyone thought asian people are really good at math and science but I'm not..

I'm asian, but it doesn't mean I have to be super smart or something kind like that..

I feel so bad , I don't even tell my parents+friends that I failed TAKS test..

..

ps. I'm a junior and sorry about my bad english =[

I've been lived here for like almost 3 years..so sorry about that

  1. Think logically and read bold printed stuff in all of your books.

  2. See if you can retake them or something? Study maybe?

  3. I lived in El Paso and I failed the TAKS test twice. They only gave me 3 times to pass and the last time, I actually got through it. That test is h**l, I hated it. Good thing I moved out of Texas...

Anyways, I got a tutor and a workbook over the exact same thing the TAKS test covered. You can ask a teacher for that workbook (I forgot what it's called) but yeah it should help.

  4. Your english aint that bad... Just look through all the stuff you've done through the years if you still have the books. Ask a teacher for a bit of extra help on the topics of the test. Just hope you have the time to learn? how long do you have?

    Goodluck!

  5. SUMMMMERRR SCHOOOOLLL!!! sucks 4 you

  6. Don't you worry, I failed everything in school, look where I'am now, top class job, awesome family.. great friends... you know smartness isn't always the key to success!

  7. your english is actually really good...

stay after school and study with teachers... maybe go with a friend

  8. Kuro,

Your score might have something to do with being an ELL (English Language Learner).  If you are learning English, the teachers should give you "accomodations" (help with the test).  Please ask them about it.

You have a bigger job than the other students.  You are learning content and a new language.  The only way to make it fair is if the teachers help you with the test.

You wrote this well.  I wouldn't have known you only lived here 3 years if you had not told me.  But I think you should still ask the teachers to accomodate you.

When you see a question that you are unsure of, tell the teacher what you think it means and then he/she will tell you if that's right or they will try to explain what it's asking.

When you go back to school, just ask the teacher if you can have help taking the test since you are an ESL (English as a second language).

  9. Just take summer classes or something. You have 5 chances. Don't worry about it.

  10. study your books 24/7 like most asians do, and get a really good tutor who helps you in your own way... like in a way were you can understand, if your parents care then they'll spend whatever for a good tutor and your educations. good luck!

  11. The language barrier might have made it tough for you.
