  1. Who doesn't like you?

Your school (whatever that is) has established a standard of "Satisfactory Academic Progress" - the regulations that govern federal financial aid require that your school certify that all aid recipients are making satisfactory progress towards completing their educational program. Students who do not satisfy the school requirements are not permitted to receive additional federal student aid.

At most schools, this is a three part requirement - you must complete your degree program within a certain number of semesters, you must register for at least a minimum number of credit hours each semester, and you must maintain a cumulative (overall) grade point average above a certain standard (usually 2.0)

You will have to check with your school in order to identify the SAP policy - it will be published in your catalog, and it will also be available online at your school's official website. Some schools will place a student on a 1-semester "academic probation", and still disburse financial aid funds for that ONE semester - other schools do not offer any such "grace" period.

It's not as important how you did THIS semester as it is how this semester's grades impacted your cumulative GPA. Again - only your school's academic affairs department, or registrar can advise you of the specific policies at that school, and review your overall transcript in order to determine whether you are in violation of the satisfactory academic performance standards.
