Question:

I failed my first drivers permit test... what can I do to study?

I studied before the test, took all those online practice tests and got near perfect on all of them... then I take the real test and miss all these questions on DUI and various penalties.

I feel like an idiot... I am a straight A student and have never failed a test before. Anyone else fail their first time? And any advice on how to pass the next time around?

  1. Don't feel Stupid, I made a 4 on my AP Us History and a 3 in Ap English, and completely and totally boomed my first attempt at the drivers test.

You know what you missed you know what blew it, study those areas and just calm down.  Nerves and pressure are your worst enemy =)

  2. Seems like you have done what you have to do. You tried, and every failure is also a learning experience.

Take what you learned, and review those questions missed.

Next time, you will ace it.

Also, ask someone else to ask you the practice questions, the answers will stay with you better, when you practice with another person around, helps you get over the jitters.

  3. i just took my test too!

i only missed like 3 on the practice tests online and then today i failed...i missed 10! i am so frusterated becuase im way past 15 1/2 and could have had my permit in may but i kept procrastinating and now i failed the test. i just want my permit already! so don't feel bad, you are not alone.

all you can do is carefully read the book and have people who you know that passed it help you.

i can honestly say i feel you pain :(

    good luck next time :)
