i failed the 9th grade out of missing one or so credits, just wondering why i have 10th grade classes will that bring me to pass and go to 11th grade? my math is the highest so i think they gave me that and they also gave me digital imaging and english2 and algebra2 which i should take in 10th grade.

  1. maybe your just a 9r.

at my school a 9r just takes the credits that they needed in the 9th grade along with the current 10th grade classes they need so they wont get even further behind.

    maybe thats your case?

  2. Let's say you have to pass 6 classes to be promoted to the 10-th grade, but you failed two.  So technically you would still be in 9th grade, and have to take those two classes over again, but get to take 10th grade classes in the subjects you passed in 9th.  You must have passed English I in 9th, because they scheduled you for English II, and you must have passed your math because they scheduled Algebra II, both of which would be 10th grade classes.  But instead of getting to choose elective classes, you'll need to pass those core classes that you didn't pass in ninth grade the first time.

    Good luck!

  3. thats how they do it...if u get enough credits to be in the 11th grade the u can be in it

  4. oh that's obvious because this is high school it goes by age like if you fail again after your 18 then they kick you out but while your in high you will move up on classes you passed but classes you failed those are the only ones you will take again like if you 7 periods and fail one then you will go up a grade on all the classes you passed but the one you failed that one you must take again. just think "this si high school there is no going back now you must as growing into an adult go on...now when it comes to children of middle and elementary they still have enough time to recover what they did wrong
