I failed the physics regents with a 56 but i passed the class with a 69?

Question

di have to go go summer school, i got a credit for the class but they sent a letter home saying to attend summer school. cant i just study by my self and take it in august or do i have to take the class over again during the summer.

I'm pretty sure you can just take it again in August, but I would call your guidance counselor or an administrator at your school to make sure. I'm assuming you're from New York, right?
