As soon as the doctor put eye drops in my eyes I got dizzy, then went unconscious. A few minutes later, I "woke up" and still felt dizzy and couldn't walk, so they took me out on a stretcher. At the doctor they took my blood pressure and stuff. It was a little low, but they didn't think that's what caused it. Any ideas?

  1. i ahve no idea y tht happened??? but do u think tht will happen with me when i go get my eyes checked in like a week or two???? thts a scary thought!!!:o

  2. Are you male?  The reason I ask is because this seems to happen more often to males.  Part of the problems is nerves and part of it can be a response to the cool liquid going in your eyes.  It's nothing to be concerned about, just know you are prone to it and warn doctors/staff beforehand.

  3. Probably the same reason I pass out within minutes of sitting in the dentists chair.

    Just a buildup of stress.

  4. Where you scared before you went? If so I would say it is stress.
