I fancy London 2012. Thinking maybe the shot put?

I'm a big lad - i like shiney things.

I'll be 29 in 2012. Maybe shot put i'm thinking.

Any ideas on how to get into this sport?

Good choice of sport as there will not be so much competition. Find your nearest athletic club (on google), join them, train all the time (i.e give up the rest of your life) and you are in with a chance.
