I fed my hamster a tiny bit of whole wheat bread.?

And it's the first time, is it okay? As a treat?

I feed my hamster bread all the time!!! Pizza crust, wheat, white, and sourdough!!! It's ok for them to eat!!!!

Yes Its Okay and if im correct It should be really healthy as weat contains alot of nutrients such as vitamins A, B1 and B3. Vitamins B1 and 3 are very important to maintain energy levels and maintain healthy muscles, organs, fur and skin.  :)

Yes, it is fine.

Bread is healthy, and hamsters love it.

I would recommend you might soak the bread with milk, or spread a bit of cheese on the bread, and hamsters would love it.

But don't feed it too much though...but it is fine, in small amounts.

My hamsters love bread with cheese!

It's ok as a treat. They'll love it more witha little bit of peanut butter! My hamie licked the peanut butter clean off first! But as a treat. Not TOO often. Remember, treats can only take up 10% of their diet. GIVE LOTS OF TLC!

Once in a while is fine. Should your hamster only eat bread as their diet? no definately not but it's a great treat for them.

It is totally fine to feed your hamster bread and wheat, I feed my hamster these little snacks that is made out of alot of bread. Don't feed it too much, just as a snack.
