I feel a real failure i know its stupid but ?

i did this open university study at home and although i have passed four of the courses so far i have found it hard this year and have my grandson living with me and we have to study in long school holidays and i have fallen behind this year and really wanted to pass and feel down with myself i am in my forties and feel down what should i do

well, how about if you divide your courses up, and take half of them this year, and the other half next year. you are looking after a small child, and you cant devote as much time to your studies as you used to. so what if it takes you an extra year. don't kick yourself in the butt because of that- its not a big deal- looking after a child is also a full time job- its better to divide the schooling up, and save yourself a lot of stress and headaches- you will get it done eventually. good luck.

You need to take a day off and go have fun with your grandson.  Then go back to your books with a fresh look.
