i have a question with p**n web sites

why is it that the websites always say on the side what city im from and show other girls that are from that same city and that their available

does this mean they have all the info of my comp?

  1. This has nothing to do with that topic... but the advertisements use your ip address location to see where you live. In order to get information from the server, you must give the server your info so they can send it to you. SO... yeah...

  3. No, they can tell from your IP address. The girls aren't actually from your city, they just stick some pictures up there and then the name of the city changes depending on the users IP address.

  4. Don't warry. It is a tool of can  simply know your IP address.but It doesnt mean that they have any info that is on your computer. So relex.

    They know what area you live in by your IP address... But I highly doubt they know your exact address so don't worry about it.

    Just remember this.. Don't click on those Ads because you never know how much adware or even VIRUSES the pages contain and can do much harm to your computer (common sense always tells me that those babes would never live in such a crappy town like mine).. NEVER type in personal information and www.boysfood.com is a good site for FREE p**n.

  8. No. They use your I.P. address to determine the general area that your computer resides in. It's a simple algorithm.

  9. It doesnt mean that they have any info that is on your comp. They simply know your IP address (which they know because you opened that particular page using your internet browser) which tells them where you are (usually what suburb)and they advertise accordingly.

    As the others said, they determine your area by your IP address.

  16. They have your IP address, your ISP, and your municipality, but they don't have all your information unless they can court order your ISP to give it to them.  This is how illegal music downloaders get sued by the RIAA.

    Whatismyipaddress.com will tell you your IP address, your city, and your ISP.  It obviously doesn't know your exact address according to its Google map of your IP address.  It also reports if you want to be more anonymous: "When the IP address is a proxy server and it does not expose the user's IP address it is virtually impossible to locate the user."

    However, we have all filled out enough forms, that if someone sold that information, then our name and address could be correlated to our IP addresses anytime.

    As for going to p**n web sites, I wouldn't because every computer security article I've read has said to steer clear of them unless you want p**n malware.  I went to some p**n sites when I was in university, but I stopped after I got a few virus warnings as well as browser exploits like a lot of pop-ups and windows that don't close.

    I also read on RipoffReport.com that there are a lot of consumers complaining that p**n sites are overbilling their credit cards after they sign up for those $2.99 three day trials by giving them subscriptions they didn't want.
