I feel bad. I thought this guy just wanted to hook up - do you think he wanted a relationship?

I hung out with this guy a couple of times, was kind of flirty because that's my way of making guy friends. Then one day we hooked up (and then some). I didn't want to be tied down to anyone, and I didn't think he did either, he wasn't overly sweet or telling me he liked me or anything.

Later I said I thought we should just be friends, but he seemed kind of disappointed. Then I started thinking - he's really nerdy and gets really nervous easily, maybe I wasn't reading him correctly. What do you think? Any clue?

He may just be shy.  If you're not interested in a relationship with him, though, then there's no way to know.  He doesn't have to tell you.
