I feel depressed?

Hi everyone, i'm 19 and I feel very depressed. I don't feel like I belong anywhere, I feel like time is going by way too fast and I have to admit that it scares me. Man I wish i could talk to a counsler but they cost like 80 bucks an hour, i ask myself why there's so many ******* suicides in this country.

  3. 1. it gets easier as you get older. 18 or 19 are like the toughest times of your life. things will get better and you won't remember what all the trouble was about.

    2. everyone belongs somewhere. you'd only feel like that if you're hanging out with people different from you. read more - try biographies of musicians, actors or artists you admire, and see what helped them. meet people who are into the same stuff as you.

    3. the best stuff will be what you work out yourself.

    4. depression is often caused by trying to feel better. let yourself feel bad, things will get better on their own if you leave it alone

  4. you know, i am 19 too and i also feel the same as you. I never could fit into any groups, most people tend to look down on me. I always feel depressed too. But I've learned that since life is so short, you might as well make the best out of it and live it the fullest. You may yet have to find your group of friends yet, but i'm sure you will someday. In the meantime, you need to lift up your spirits, learn to be happy.

  5. dude you just kind have to take a deep breath and take it one day at a time. and even if you can't afford a counsler i have found that if you can find one really good friend that you can tell anything to that helps just as much.

    Learn from your mistakes & try to improve yourself, suicide is not the option for brave people.

  7. nowdays people dont have the patience in doing the work or for living.  my suggestion is to do every pranayama for 30 mintues in the morning  take the deep breath in the early hours stop all thoughts in mind and sit silent . on practising you will find utmost courage and peace and doing things with very much interest. no counseller required for depression. if you habituate for this one automatically you will develop yourself and start doing help to others also. think good to motivate.

  8. i know just how you feel and i think i always start to feel a lot better when i have fun,,so you should do things youve always wanted to do,and just have a really fun day,,this wont really help you feel better forever but if your really depressed having a fun day will make you feel better and hopefully you will be able to be a little happier,,just dont let yourself get 2 depressed =(,,good luck i hope everything works out
